The radiation oncology physicians at Saint Barnabas Medical Center are all Board Certified and dedicated to providing the highest quality care in a compassionate setting.

Zoe Woel, MD, joined The Saint Barnabas Medical Center Radiation Oncology department in July. Most recently, Dr. Woel was an attending physician in Radiation Oncology at St. Vincent’s Comprehensive Cancer Center, New York. She was also an assistant professor in Radiation Oncology at New York Medical College. During her tenure at St. Vincent’s, she conducted research in partial breast irradiation and gastrointestinal cancer. In addition, Dr. Woel is a volunteer for Physicians for Human Rights and Doctors of the World.
She received her medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia, Richmond, VA. She completed an internship at St. Mary’s Medical Center in San Francisco, CA and her residency in radiation oncology at the Joint Center for Radiation Therapy, Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA. She also completed a program in Clinical Effectiveness from the Harvard School of Public Health. Dr. Woel has been involved in a number of research studies and has published and presented the findings. She takes a special interest in the treatment and research of gynecologic cancers, prostate cancer, hematologic malignancy, brain tumors and breast cancer.
